Ghusl (full bath) after an operation

The act of ghusl (full bath) is required when one enters a state of major impurity. For men, major impurity is caused by ejaculation or sexual intercourse with/without ejaculation. For women, it is when she has an orgasm, has sexual intercourse with/without orgasm, gives birth, or has menses.
No where in these cases is a ghusl required when one has major surgery, or a medical condition where blood leaks with urine.
However, if you are in a state of minor impurity which requires wudu, you may fulfill the appropriate requirements whether your urine contains blood or not.
So unless you've had sex or ejaculated (or if you are female, had menses or given birth), you do not need a ghusl at all despite your medical condition.
And Allah always knows best. -IslamicAnswers.com
